Sleep

It is 1 am and I want to go to sleep. I am tired and my body is telling me to rest. And yet my brain doesn’t shut up. I will not fall asleep until around 5 am, give or take. This is my everyday (night?) routine. I can not even be considered a night owl, since I do not even do anything at night. I am not online or watching tv or texting pals. I just lay in bed exhausted and wonder why I still can’t fall asleep. And I wonder why I have no energy during the day.
