More on poetry

I have this wonderful, crazy idea about getting some of my watercolors that I have painted downsized and use them to illustrate my poems.  I am so excited!  I hope I can do it and not exasperate UPS too much.  I have a painting of a cat hiding in high brush, and a poem about a cat outside the college dining hall.  I have a really cool painting of a tarnished tea kettle, (they are all watercolor) and a little poem:

The Teakettle

Copper, stained to brownish rust and left to gather attic dust, it mourns in some dark corner’s clasp where age-old cobwebs cling and grasp and welcome it with fiendish glee into their void antiquity.

Do you like it??
