“Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel….” “Since you have in obedience to the truth purified your souls for a sincere love of the brethren, fervently love one another from the heart.”
The teachings this month have been all over the place. Some of them were difficult to understand, some were dark and others were just scary. But tonight, I take the Scripture with me and use it to help find kindness in the world.
I believe God is watching and caring for all of us, giving us free will, showing us his grace, love and acceptance. If we show love and care for one another, we will be rewarded with his blessings. April brings 30 days of kindness and I will use the teachings of these Scriptures to find and show kindness; do my part to make this world a little better for others.
An update on the water experiment: going back to work interrupted my 30 days, but I was successful for the first two weeks. I didn’t feel many differences although I think my head felt clearer, not as “fuzzy” somedays. My conclusion is satisfactory to know I don’t have to drown myself in water, but I do need to stay well hydrated every day.
