Day 405 – Psychology keeps messing w/ spiders

Wednesday, April 5th 2017

Today was fun.

I started with French, which wasn’t the fun part, because it was more book work. I am two chapters ahead and have two chapters left. I talked with Kohai a bit at the end, which was much more fun.

I went to psychology class and we talked about the left and right brain. There was a spider on one of the slides, and my teacher apologized to me, but it wasn’t a totally horrible spider, since it was a fake image of one. He joked and took a paper and blocked my vision at some point. It was fine for the most part, although I could feel myself getting hotter, because I would be a tad paranoid of spiders around me. Luckily it seems my teacher purposefully stood between my and the spider to hide me from it. Not sure if it was purposefully, but if it was, thanks.

I ate with Kohai at lunch, warned her about the spider, and talked to her about the book. I showed her some of my answers and she thinks it’s an interesting concept.

I went off to English class and got our reader’s response back. I didn’t get what I hoped for, but what I expected. It was an average grade, and apparently no one got an A. We understood afterwards. She told us that we can always do a redo if it’s not a test, but something like this one, a written task, etc., but only one. We can’t wait until the end of the year to pick one out, since she doesn’t want a lot to correct at that time, which is understandable. I’m not gonna use it on this one though, just in case. It’s not great, but not bad either, so I don’t want to use up my redo and have one I did worse on later and not be able to redo it.
My French teacher walked in and told us about a French competition. It sounds interesting, but I’m awful at French grammar and the culture part of it I don’t think I’ll be great at, but Kohai might be interested.

I finished with art and kinda finished my portrait—I still wanna fix the mouth a little, but I don’t really have time. I have to make an analysis with the meaning or whatever. Our teacher even know we’re writing random crap, because she’s helping students write random crap haha.

At home I played Rocket League with one of the owners, ate, played Tuber Simulator since there’s an event going on, talked with Kohai with her chemistry problem and moderated the server.

That’s all for today.
