115 MB and love

Took a vacation to myrtle beach again this year for the kids’ spring break. It was so nice to get away from the dreary, chilly northeast spring weather. It was high 70’s and sunny on the beach almost the entire week. The kids played in the surf and sand for hours and hours. They were so wonderful together. They love each other so much.  We had a nice place this year in an even better location than last year. Quieter. I found a yoga class that I attended 4 times.  The instructor was just the kind of person that I love practicing with. I got to read one of my favorite books. The only damper on the trip was my peri-menopausal mood.  I wasn’t as even-tempered as I would like to have been. Mother nature was just not playing nice with me.  I snapped at the kids a few times. But overall I was very happy to be away with the 3 people I love the most. H and I had a nice little talk on the beach when the kids were playing.  I asked him if he loves me more than he used to.  He said yes, and “isn’t that the way it’s supposed to work?”.  Yes, my love, yes I think it is.  You live, you love, you learn, you grow.  Throughout your entire lifetime.

  1. What a lovely trip! It is so beautiful that your children love one another! What a blessing.
There is a crème at healthfood stores for peri-menopausal symptoms. I used it when I was that age. It really helped me. Sorry I can’t think of the name of it. They will know.
Good luck! Drink plenty of water. Don’t forget to love yourself even on not-so-good days. You are doing a great job mothering!
