I decided I should target my emotional health and my physical health using a weekly plan that I’m still adjusting. When it comes to flashbacks, I’ve learned to acknowledge them and my emotions but to not dwell on them excessively. I don’t ignore them or try to ‘get over’ them. Simply becoming aware of them and learning to distract myself seems to work effectively, for now.
I had flashbacks twice today, once yesterday. I also felt a bit down this afternoon, but I’m trying to keep myself going. Exercise seems to help a lot with getting out my energy, but I am too sore from my leg exercises, so I’ve been stuck inside since yesterday.
