I know, I know, what happened to day 7, 8 & 9? Truth is, I just didn’t feel like writing. It’s been a busy week and all the stuff with my sister….I needed to park my writing for a few days.
Tonight at yoga, we were asked to set an intention. My mind starting swirling trying to find what mine should be when beautiful Brittany, our instructor, said – it can just be a word if you want and my mind opened up like a flower blooming in the warm sun. My intention became “words”, hoping to have words fill my heart and soul again and see clearly to continue writing in my journal.
The yoga class was amazing; the most relaxing hour I’ve had in days. My mind and body relaxed deeply into meditation and calm flowed through me. I think the best part about the class was being with my friends. We have a great group who practice together, but it’s summer and everyone is in different directions. Tonight, our directions all lined up and we were able to share the same beautiful space.
Family isn’t always blood related, but it’s always love related, and tonight this was truer than words. Tonight my yoga family meant everything to me and helped bring back my words. Thank you yogis, I love you. Namaste 🙏🏻
