I got up at 11 in the morning. Made some pancakes, did my makeup, and went to the library. I borrowed Fitzgerald’s Tender Is the Night. The librarian asked me how I liked To Kill a Mockingbird. He said there was a prequel and I said I would borrow that some other time. Made spaghetti, read, went out with my sister, stopped at a drugstore. I had just grown determined to spend some of my money on The Balm’s Balm Jovi palette when I saw that they don’t sell The Balm any longer. Disappointed, I proceeded to Grandma’s with my sister. At Grandma’s I took a shower, had some chocolate-chip-and-hazelnut cookies with milk on the balcony at sunset, read some more. I have read 100 pages so far.
