Good Vibrations

I love all music. I’ve been asked what do I usually listen to and I can’t really say that I listen to just one specific genre. Actually, to be totally and completely honest, I don’t know shit about categorizing songs into genres. I just know the basics. Call me Becky. 💁🏽

I just gravitate towards anything that catches my attention. Be it through the lyrics or the rhythm and beat. Yesterday, I came up with an upbeat playlist to keep me from choosing songs that were making me think too much. So I just wanted to share it. A little musical therapy. Like I said, I love allllllll music. So I took it back to original House Chicago music and then just started adding anything that was House inspired or pretty much that just made me dance and feel free. I love that House music mixed Disco and Europop beats together and created something so original and was directed towards free loving people. Ahh, the 70’s. How I wish I had a time machine so I can visit each decade to experience the music scenes. (Okay, and maybe the drugs, too 😂) Anyways, here it is, kicking off with the original creator of House music DJ Frankie Knuckles. 🎧👊🏽
