Day 597 & 598 – French

Sunday, October 15, 2017

I didn’t go to church once again. I’m going to go next time though. I’ve taken a loooong enough break. I did do a Bible study though.

I worked quite a bit on my portfolio. My dad helped me out at some point and I got a little fustrated and stressed. I let it all out afterwards and tried drawing gestures now and then. I kept trying to draw the anatomy in a short period of time instead of the gesture, so I have to practice that.

Today was alright.

I started with math. I reviewed the questions that we did and tried to complete new ones to have a better understanding. I understand everything, I just don’t know when to apply it. I’m gonna have to figure that out tomorrow, since the test is Wednesday.

In French we finished the movie and recieved our tests back. No one did good, including me (got a C). I did two questions right and the rest are wrong or okay. Although, it’s only our first test, and our teacher handed out our new project which is a presentation on a French thing we love, and it’ll help my grade get back up, so I’m going all out. I chose Daran, since I saw the artist in person and he’s probably more well known than I thought. I showed a song to Kohai since she’s working with me, and she seem to like it and agreed to make a presentation on him.

At lunch I sat with my close friends as usual, and then I went off to technology. I continued my Star Destroyer which is coming along great, then I left for English. We did more grammar stuff, corrected book questions and read. Surprisingly, our teacher didn’t talk about politics.

At home I worked a lot on my French presentation, specifically designing my own template to make it as appealing as possible. I got some Photoshop skills in there, and some good placement. Here they are so far :

Other than that, I watched an episode of Supernatural. Later on, a couple of people in staff and I sent each other satisfying gifs. Only perfect calligraphy seems to work for me.

That’s all for today.
