Day 603 & 604 – Driving, shopping & testimony

Saturday, October 21, 2017

That day was alright.

I had a driving lesson. It went pretty well. I did parking uphill, downhill, and learned how to do three point turns, which I’m going to have to practice.

Afterwards I went shopping with my mom a little to use the gift card my grandmother gave me and to get a simple portfolio case for Saturday. There was a cute guy around my age at the counter, but another employee came along before the person in front of us was done with the guy. He was also around 6’5″ tall.

The rest of the day I just relaxed and worked in Blender a little bit.

This day was a bit more productive.

I went to church, and I had a fun time. A lady I know looked at me in a defeated manner (she was comparing our heights), but when I told her I was wearing heels, she laughed and thanked me for saying I was.

We had a good service. But we also had a good testimony about a man who was hit by a car and who’s now bound to a wheelchair. In short, be careful when you drive, seriously. Eliminate all distractions; your phone, food, very loud music, and more. You could end up making a life changing mistake. Also, be careful listening to music while waiting at the bus stop, walking on the sidewalk, crossing the street, etc. Always keep an ear open.

For the rest of the day I relaxed, worked on some Blender, a bit on my presentation, and I did some 2 and 5 minute gestures for my portfolio. I have 3 gestures I did for it.

That’s all for today.
