Day 607 – French presentation, awkwardness & Shakespeare theory

Today was great!

I started off with French. We had presentations, so I mostly reviewed math before Kohai and I went up. I forgot to say some things, but the presentation went great anyway! I made our teacher chuckle, and Kohai seemed to have impressed our teacher with her analysis. At the end when everyone clapped, someone said that it was a great presentation, and two people afterwards said it was really good as well. Then our teacher told us she knew the song we showed, but didn’t know who it was from, and someone else said that as well, and now they know who it is from. So it’s a great success!

We had a math test next though. Not sure how I did again. I think I did okay, but I don’t know for sure. We’ll see.

At lunch I sat with Kohai, her friends and a close friend. There’s always a girl I know through Kohai for a while now that talks to me quite a bit and sits next to me in technology, and she’s really nice, but I can’t understand what she says half of the time, cause she has a bit of an accent. So I do the awkward nod and agree. I hope she doesn’t think I’m rude by sometimes not answering her on some things, I’m just too awkward to ask her what she said.

I had technology next and I mostly did some research to study for my English test. Afterwards I had English and began reading Othello. Our teacher began explaining a theory he believes where Shakespeare isn’t actually a person in itself, but a different author. It sounds interesting, but I prefer the mystery, and that’s different from me, since I’m super curious and want to know things like these 99% of the time. But I guess it’s because I believe if there is an author that chose Shakespeare as a fake name for a fake person, then he wanted that fake person to be real in other people’s eyes and to see that the plays were made by that fake person, to be it’s own thing without having the author’s previous works associated with the plays. I want to respect that and not ruin the image, although at the same time, I’d be lying if it wouldn’t be interesting to know if it is someone else and who it is.

At home I just relaxed. I needed a break from everything, so I watched Orange Is The New Black (almost done the show, only a few episodes left), ate, played some Club Penguin since the Halloween event started (although I think I went through everything within the span of a couple of hours), and now I’m gonna wait until people from church leave so I can watch Supernatural.

That’s all for today.
