I made it to the gym three times this week! That was my goal. To be honest, today would have been a perfect excuse for old me to skip the gym. I had a crappy day at work, I had to go to the grocery store after work, etc. But, I made myself go to the grocery store on the way home, put away the groceries, changed into work out clothes, and went to the gym. I did not allow myself time to get settled in because I would have never gotten back up. It does suck knowing I only have two hours to relax before it is bedtime, but glad I went. Plus, my husband went with me so it has become something we enjoy doing together.
-Breakfast: Turkey ham & cheese omelet (nutrisystem) and a slice of cheese (power fuel). This is not something I would have ordered originally. I actually do not like ham or eggs very much. I still would not order it. I don’t know if maybe someone who likes that kind of stuff would like it or if it was just gross in general. I actually did not finish it.
-AM Snack: Unsalted dry roasted peanuts (power fuel).
-Lunch: I used my flex lunch today. I had tuna (power fuel), mayo (extra), grapes (smart carb) and two servings of vegetables. It doesn’t sound like a lot but it did take me a while to finish. I was not stuffed but definitely satisfied, especially knowing I was going to eat again in 2.5 hours.
-PM Snack: 1 slice of wheat bread (smart carb) and peanut butter (power fuel).
-Dinner: Another turkey sausage and pepperoni pizza (nutrisystem) and two servings of vegetables. I seriously love this pizza. I added red pepper flakes this time and it helped me slow down a bit. I am making sure I get a few of these in my next order.
-Evening snack: Chocolate cupcake (nutrisystem). Oh my gosh. This was delicious! It tasted just like a normal cupcake, did not taste like a diet version at all. It also had a chocolate drizzle on top in place of frosting. What I really liked was that it was bigger than a normal cupcake so definitely a value. Will make sure I have a few in my next order.
I am doing my week 2 weigh in tomorrow instead of Friday because I am allowing myself a cheat meal tomorrow night and I really don’t want one meal to potential undo my entire week.
