The hardest thing about this journey, I think, is the fact that I only get one day off a week, and I have to spend 80% of that day studying. I know people have harder problems than I do, ohh woe is me, right? lmao 

I do have some good news though. What’s different about this quarter and last quarter is that last quarter I didn’t make ANY time to take care of myself. But this quarter, I am making some time to do something for myself that’s not related to school or work. I went to the gym 3x last week with some regular, light yoga. This week I’m going to practice yoga at a studio; I’m shooting for 3 sessions. 

It’s so important to take care of yourself. It’s easy to get lost in the sauce of work and school and work and school and pretend that you’re okay when you’re actually zombie-ing your way through the routine. It’s a very slippery slope for me, personally. I’m trying to practice more mindfulness and I get that when I work out and eat healthy and practice yoga and just overall be a more decent human being to myself.

I hope you guys are finding a way to do that, too. I read some of your blogs and you guys are going through so much, I feel like a little bitch sometimes when I complain about my day lmaooo props to you, stay strong, we’ll get through another week, my friends.
