Cleaning up

Doesn’t that sound exciting? Ha.  It’s about as exciting as it sounds, but it has to be done, every day.  I got behind while I was so sick and now my house looks like something on the Hoarders tv show.  Yup.  There are piles of stuff on the floors in every room.  Groceries on the kitchen floor.  I am not proud of this.  In fact, I am downright ashamed.  But I am working to improve it, as hard as I can.  I have to take breaks when my back hurts. Ron, my darling hubby, has Parkinson’s and cannot do a lot to help.  He does what he can, bless his heart.  Wish us luck, okay?

  1. Just take the cleaning up one day at a time, and no cleaning is not a pleasurable chore. I did it yesterday all day long. I have the house nice and sparkly now…for the time being, until……I get to tired and say heck with it, I’ll do it another day. haha. Enjoy your evening.

  2. I am constantly cleaning…and it is bloody hard work! I know it has to be done but keep in mind your health comes first- please don’t over-do it. And also I got locked out of my own diary not too long ago and I sent a message to the website saying I was not happy! Fair enough the guy who replied was very patient with me obvious upset and unlocked my diary for me. It took him a couple of tries though. I wasn’t going to be locked out of my own diary for four weeks as it was telling me! I’m also really sad to hear you were so ill, but so grateful you are now ok more or less! Don’t over-do it with the cleaning, I know I do and it gets me more stressed out than it is actually worth at times.

  3. Thank you both for your comments! Rogue, that is good advice—to not overdo it. I will take your advice and slow down a bit. At least until my cough is gone.
