Back, but nowhere near back

She responded again, very briefly again.  She said she is okay, and thanked me for checking in on her.  But she is still completely emotionless, and seeming almost cold.  Whatever else happened has and still is deeply affecting her.  She was like this before, more than a year ago.  It took her a very long time to be able to relax enough to be herself again.

Has she been taken too far down this time?  Last time she said she could never come back, but she did.  This time it feels even worse, though this time I had absolutely nothing to do with it.  (Last time I put pressure on her just before it happened).

All I want right now is for her to find a way to be able to talk to me, but she us shut down almost beyond that.

Poor girl … you know I’m here for you and will always be, regardless of what has happened and why.  I wish you could take comfort in my caring for you …

  1. Physically, yes. Emotionally, no. But I am more at ease, yes.
Thank you for your comment. I hope things are going a little better for you at home.

  2. @Vicki, I don’t generally find out exactly what happened, but I know in general. She loses the part of herself that can communicate outside of what she needs to do in her real life. I think she operates as a shadow of herself at home when she’s like that too. The easiest thing for her to do would be to completely ghost me, and she does not do that.
