Ping Pong January

The first month of this new year has started steady with new beginning and fresh hopes.

I started my new role in the work place and can feel myself growing in confidence with some aspects but I have a lot to learn yet .. I am feeling less tired doing the Monday to Friday routine compared to the shifts and sleep ins of before but I’ve also been going to bed earlier which is something I’ve always struggled with preferring to be a night owl for as long as I can remember ..

I joined the new website and have plenty of things to keep me busy and focused in all areas and I feel quite refreshed, motivated and excited .. I’m determined for it not to be a novelty like a new hobby I’ve not tried before but a consistent path of self development and more ..

Rio and Tia are growing and doing well .. I’ve started taking them outside at the weekends to introduce them to the big outdoors .. they are still quite nervy though, every little noise and they go running back inside but once the nicer weather comes with the lighter evenings I’m sure it won’t be long before I will be trying to get them in again ..

I haven’t been very social .. I like not making plans at the weekends .. when I did go girlie shopping, it was a spur of the moment thing with my neighbour .. I used one of my vouchers and came back with a bright yellow jumper and a blanket scarf at a reduced price which goes perfectly with the winter coat I bought last year but hadn’t worn without having the right accessories in place ..

The highlight of the month for me was going to ‘Bounce’ one Wednesday evening with my work colleagues .. a social ping pong club with pink ping pong balls, two came home with me, served with a cocktail or two although I opted for glasses of wine instead, followed by a chicken burger and chunky chips, the only choice for one that doesn’t like cooked cheese .. it was such fun, I loved it and want to do it again.
