I’m currently in LA for a fun weekend with my girl, Elke.
We planned it at the last minute, and just decided to have a fun Disneyland weekend since we don’t have class Monday.
Its midnight here, but I’m waiting for my baby to Facetime me in thirty-minutes or so. I miss him 🙁
Then I’m going to bed because I’m so tired. We walked all day at the park, and got on all of the rides, and ate lots of junk food.
As far as wedding updates go: we don’t know if we’re going to get the venue we want until the very end of the month. I don’t understand how it can take so long to look up the availability of a date, but because its a considerable place I guess I can understand if they need to make sure they have no other issues/commitments. My mom has become my unofficial wedding planner. She’s so cute about it. I keep stressing that I want a very small wedding, we both do. At the most 50-55 people. But I’ve already been warned that that is probably not going to be very realistic. Because I have a very large Russian-American family. And even though Ayato doesn’t have his family with him, he has a lot of close friends and best friends that love him and I know he’s going to want to invite. So we’re both finalizing our guest list by the end of this upcoming week. Highly doubt its going to total to 55 people. I still haven’t found my wedding dress and I’ve visited three wedding dress boutiques already. Is this normal?
On a happy note, my dad has fully recovered from his leg injury and surgery, and is now back to work. He’s an orthopedic surgeon, so he was out of work for almost 8 months! My mom and his surgeon staff threw a welcome back party for him at his hospital. It was lovely, I wish I could spend more time with my parents. 🙂
