Psalm 104, A Lifetime Of Praise

What kind of spirit is required to have one like that of the psalmist in Psalm 104, where the writer conveys a motivation to sing to the Lord endlessly? To praise God all of one’s life, no matter the circumstances or crises, is a dedicated mindset. This type of spirit displays a conviction, a gratitude, to glorify the Lord in all endeavors. God is mighty. He is majestic. He is more than worthy of our praise. Furthermore, to declare a desire to rejoice in the Lord forever denotes an unconditional faith. Situations cannot change it. Hardships cannot move it. Setbacks cannot stop it. So let this be our abiding desire, and our guiding perspective.

Psalm 104:33 “I will sing to the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.” (NIV)
