Micah 5:2, There Are No Insignificant People Or Places To God

So many things are taken for granted by humanity. So many things are overlooked, and discounted. But read a verse like Micah 5:2 and we discover that nothing is missed by God. Nothing is taken for granted by the divine. Nothing is overlooked, or discounted by the Almighty. A town, Bethlehem, very few regarded even within Judah became a town that would help change human history. Bethlehem became the birthplace of mankind’s Redeemer: Jesus Christ. It was a town that was overshadowed. A town that was minimized, and largely ignored. The point being, the Lord does not see insignificant people, or places. He sees value where mankind doesn’t. He sees benefit where we don’t. So may we open our eyes, and our heart, to allow the divine beauty in. May we open our lives to divine goodness.

Micah 5:2 “’But you Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will rule over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.’” (NIV)
