In a week or so I have read another book. Lord of the Flies by William Golding. A group of kids survive an airplane accident and get stranded on a deserted island. It might seem like a robinson crusoe story with kids, but it is not like that at all. The story concentrates on relationships between the boys and how they evolve without any adults present rather than on daily life of people stranded on an island. The more you read the more surprising and unexpected events happen. What bothered me was the amount of extended descriptions. The book could be a third shorter, if only all the unnecessary and unimportant descriptions (of the wind, the beach, the rain…) and even some events would be erased.
Currently I am (re)watching the last season of terrace house that is available on netflix. The show started really well, but I came to the point where it gets worse and worse. Most new members are idiots and I have started to notice that I skip some parts of the show, because I simply don’t care about the people in those scenes.
