Isaiah 59:1, The God With Power That Saves

In God there exists the power to be saved. To be redeemed. To be healed. To have crooked ways made straight, and morally right. To find wholeness and rest. But apart from the Lord the opposite is true. In man, and in man alone, there is only the power to disrupt, and destroy. To hurt. To crush. To aggravate. To stockpile hurt. So may believers walk in the way of the Lord, and not in the ways of man. Let us lift or voice in the service of God, not ourselves. In short, let us be a people who represent the divine character of God.

Isaiah 59:1 “Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.” (NIV)
